In short
Your original photos never leave your phone. No accounts and no ads. On the tool pages we measure visits with Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity; never on the pages of a record.
Measuring visits
On /es, /pt and /en we use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity to learn how many people use the tool and where they get stuck. Clarity masks all text and uses no cookies; Google Analytics uses measurement cookies, never advertising ones. They do not load from Europe, the UK or Switzerland, nor when your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal. The pages of a record (/v/) load none of these tools, because their address carries your private link.

The original photos and the draft record, in the browser's storage. The PDF is made from there too. If you clear the browser's data they are gone, so keep a copy until you get your deposit back.

What reaches our server when you seal
For each photo: the room, your note, the SHA-256 fingerprint of the original and a small thumbnail the browser re-encodes, with no location or camera data. Also the name you give the record, the language, the server time, whether you sent the link and the landlord's answer with their note.
Who sees it
Only someone holding one of the two links (yours or the landlord's) sees the thumbnails and the record's name. The public record page shows times and fingerprints, no photos. We do not sell or share data with anyone.
Your IP address
We use it only in memory, to limit how many records one network can create per day. It is not stored with the record. The server provider may keep technical access logs for a short time.
How long, and how to delete it
With your private link you can delete the record and its thumbnails at any time; they are gone at once. Otherwise it deletes itself after 3 years. The landlord cannot delete it.
What not to photograph
Photograph the place, not people or documents. If a photo shows someone, delete the record and make it again.
